13 hour flight lights out song11/24/2023 ![]() A carry bag for the pushchair is good too to protect it. Check with the gate attendants what they will do with it. Most airlines will let you keep it with you right up to the gate and then either give it back as you get off the flight for your stopover or collect it with your luggage. Good luck Maryam - have a lovely trip home :) From my experience of taking Raph back to NZ (much shorter flight) I would definitely recommend a light pushchair. Enjoy your trip - see you when you get back :) Make sure you are in comfy clothes and have something to read/watch/listen to because if she goes to sleep on you, you won't be able to move for a while. We found it easier to board early if they allow it and also just to sit and wait once you land and take your time to get off - people are so pushy getting off planes so it's easier to wait til most people leave if you are not in a hurry. It provides that bit more protection around the airport and getting on/off the plane. ![]() definitely recommend the carrier - especially if you can't use your pushchair to the gate. I took my sheets from Raph's cot from the night before to put on his cot when we arrived so that his bed felt/smelt familiar and was easier to settle him to sleep. ![]() be careful if you have your wee girl with you in the aisle seat though for trolleys and people coming past and bumping you. I preferred window seat for Breastfeeding but as you are FF then an aisle for you or your hubby would probably be better for access to toilets etc. It's better and more convenience to sit in aisle seat. After a thoroughly thought, i changed back to aisle seat. First i booked an aisle seat, after read some article, i changed to a window seat. I have been changing seat since i booked the ticket. I feel a little bit anxious as it's my first time travelling with a baby. Have you give solid to your bub? My bub seems to be ready to have some solid, so I'm planning to bring pouch puree and biscuit. I'm breastfeeding, but i'll bring some formula and bottle as well, just in case i need to soothe my lo. Nappy, wipes, nappy cream, panadol, teething gel, soft toys, and changing clothes. Just like they all said, i'll bring all baby essential needs. I'm like a sponge now, absorb as many info (about travelling with baby) as i can. ![]() This 15 january, approximately 8hrs flight to singapore, and then 2hrs ferry the next day. ![]()
